Never lick your skin in winters

Winter is dry and this affects your skin which makes it very dry, rough, and flaky.
Here dermatologists Dr. Deborah A. Scott, director of the Center for Laser Dermatology and Skin Health at Brigham describing how can you prevent winter from your skin away?
Winters can cause faddy effect on your skin like dry, itchy skin, chapped lips and make worse conditions for example psoriasis, eczema, and seborrhea.
A. Scott giving you some steps from preventing from winters:
Keep showers short and less warm. Long, hot showers strip natural oils from your skin. You should use up less warm water and no more than 10.
Drink water in adequate amount. Drink daily 8-10 glasses of water, it benefits your on the whole health and helps hydrate your skin from within
Moisturize daily. Instantly apply moisturizer after a shower so you can replenish your skin moisture during the whole day.
Use sunscreen. You must Apply SPF 15 or higher SPF sunscreen in the winter.
Protect your lips. You must use a petroleum- or beeswax-based lip balm for your lips.
Your skin is the mirror of your personality, so never lick your skin.
