Moisturizer
Coconut Oil provides a protective layers which locks natural moisture in your skin and is an effective moisturizer.
* For a lip balm you can use coconut butter and you can oil spearmints or peppermint oil.
* For acne treatment d few drops of lavender, patchouli oil and tea tree.
* For treating wrinkles mix patchouli oil or orange with rose.
* For eczema mix geranium or orange oil and chamomile.
* Mix rose, parsley oil , palmrosa to treat broken capillaries.
* Add grape fruit , orange oil or tangerine to heal up cellulite.
* Mix Neroli oil or palmarso to treat stretch marks.
* To treat burns, add patchouli or lavender oil and geranium
Sunburned Skin
To treat sun burn apply a leaf of aloe vera leaf. Aloe vera has cooling, soothing, anti fungal, antibacterial properties therefore they are good for burs as well. To treat sun burn use cucumber, avocados and strawberry juice.
* You can place cucumber over your tired eyes for soothing effect.
* To treat dark circles around your eyes then you can keep cool tea bags on your eyes.
Homemade Facial Toner
To make a toner for your skin mix ginseng tea made with distilled or mineral water or chamomile, green tea, lemon or lavender oil.
Green tea is extremely rich in antioxidant which provides you protection against radicals age and damage your skin. It also reduces fine lines. Lemon oil is a good toner and rejuvenatory . Lavender is also a good toner for all types of skin.
You can also add Vitamin C as an antioxidant and preservative to this skin toner. Prick a Vitamin E or a capsule or take wheat germ oil to apply on your skin directly. You can add the same ingredients to your toner, apricot or almond oil or coconut oil.
Vitamin E slow down the aging process and Vitamin A works as an antioxidant. Almond oil provides smoothness and moisture to your skin. Apricot oil softens your skin and protects it from various environmental factors. Elasticity of your skin increases with wheat germ oil.
Face Mask
Mix shredded cucumber and avocado to make a refreshing and moisturizing face mask. Avocados have Vitamin A and proteins as well. Cucumbers provides a cooling sensation and cleansing too. You can even add a banana to make this mask skin firming too.
Body Powder
To make a body oil you can mix baking soda, cornstarch to an essential body oil. You can mix peppermint oil or tea tree oil with baking soda and cornstarch to make a foot powder. Baking soda makes your skin smoother. Tea tree oil is a fungicide, germicide, antibacterial and a natural antiseptic. Peppermint oil is an effective medicine for swollen ankles.
Apart from all these home remedies some basic things can also help you in skin care, like taking plenty of rest, eatings lots of raw vegetables and fruits and above drinking at 15-16 glass of water every day.
